
Dear Scholars and Researchers,
We are pleased to announce that The 18th Asia Pacific Sociological Association (APSA) Conference will be held in Sydney, Australia from July 2 – 4, 2023. The 18th APSA conference will focus on “Diversity, Inclusion and Social Cohesion: towards social and environmental advancement and sustainable development goals attainment”. The conference will take place at the University of Sydney, Australia and promises to be a vibrant and intellectually stimulating event. The 18th APSA Conference offers virtual meeting opportunities to participants who are unable to join the events in person.
The 18th APSA conference program will include keynote lectures by Emeritus Professor Dai-Yeun Jeong – Jeju National University, South Korea, Professor Sadeka Halem – Dhaka University, Banglasesh, Professor Michele Ford – The University of Sydney, and Professor Janeen Baxter – The University of Queensland, Australia, several concurrent sessions, and research papers. The conference is expected to bring together scholars and researchers from different countries and disciplines to exchange ideas and share knowledge on how social and environmental advancement and sustainable development goals can be achieved in Asia-Pacific countries. There will also be opportunities for networking and socialising with our international colleagues in the Asia Pacific region and around the world.
Sydney is a dynamic and multicultural city that is home to a vibrant academic community. Participants can look forward to exploring the city’s many cultural attractions, including world-class museums, Opera House, galleries, and restaurants. The University of Sydney is one of the top universities in Australia and highly ranked among the best universities in the world. The campus is located in the heart of the city and offers easy access to public transportation, making it an ideal location for the conference.
